Description
This tutorial focuses on foundational techniques to get started playing lead in a metal style. These include aggressive picking, palm muted single notes, sliding, vibrato, double stops, and hammer ons and pull offs. We'll learn some straight forward metal licks that use the minor pentatonic and blues scales. Once we've gotten these licks down, we'll put them into a practice tune and play them along with a backing track.
